There is one bridge to access the island on the left of this map which is accessed via Bohicket Road.  Once on the island, there are four main areas. Click on any area name for a list of buildings where SkyRun has properties for rent in that area. 

• West Beach - Surrounding the Cougar Point golf course at the entrance just past the security gate are Villas and Cottages closest to shopping, Fresh Fields and Charleston.
  
  
• East Beach - Home of the River Course, Night Herron Park and The 5-star Sanctuary Hotel.  Has homes as well as some of the most popular villas and cottages.
  
  
• Turtle Point - Surrounding the Turtle Point Golf Course and Tennis club, this area has a mixture of Homes, Cottages and Villas.
  
  
• Vanderhorst Plantation - Furthest to the right behind a second guard gate is the Vanderhorst Plantation where the large private homes are located and the beach is much less crowded.  This area is home to golfing's famous Ocean Course as well as the Osprey Point course.

From the North:

From I-95 South, approach the Charleston area on I-26 East and then onto I-526 West.  Follow I-526 to Highway 17 South, travel approximately five miles and turn left onto Main Road. Follow the signs to Kiawah Island.

From the South:

Follow I-95 North to US-17 North (Charleston - Exit 33). Travel 52 miles on US-17, then turn right onto Main Road. Follow the signs to Kiawah Island.

From Charleston International Airport:

Upon exiting the airport, turn right onto I-526 West towards Savannah.  I-526 will end in approximately six miles. Turn right onto US-17 South. Travel about 5 miles and turn left onto Main Road. Follow the signs to Kiawah Island.

Charleston International Airport is only 45 minutes from Kiawah, while the area's executive airport - perfect for private and corporate jets - is only 15 minutes away.
